MEET THE AUTHOR – CAMILLE PERRI

July 28, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.


We are honored to have East Meadow’s own Camille Perri, visiting us to talk about her new book, Social Animals. This novel is a funny and sharp social commentary on community, privilege, dog ownership, and the ultimate power of finding your people (and your pets). Camille will be signing copies of her book which will be for sale after the program.

Camille Perri is the author of The Assistants and When Katie Met Cassidy. She has worked as a books editor for Cosmopolitan and Esquire. She has also been a ghostwriter of young adult novels and a reference librarian. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from New York University, where she majored in English and gender and sexuality studies, and a master’s of library science degree from Queens College. Camille lives in New York City with her partner, Helen, and their Brussels griffon named Pip.
