Starring Klaus Kinski and Joachim Fuchsberger (who once was being eyed to play the role of James Bond). This film will be shown in the library’s reading garden, drive-in style.

Dead Eyes of London was one of the German krimi films that came out in the late 50’s and early 60’s. The krimi is a crime thriller that originated in Germany. Krimis borrow elements from other genres, particularly film noir imagery, conventional mystery whodunits, police procedurals and even horror. The krimi was initially inspired by the works of two British writers, Edgar Wallace and his son, Bryan Edgar Wallace. Besides presenting the film, Keith Crocker will discuss other krimis and movies that have been adapted from Wallace’s works. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the show!
