Meet Claire Lombardo, The New York Times bestselling author of The Most Fun We Ever Had, as she discusses her multi-generational novel in which the four adult daughters of a Chicago couple – still madly in love after forty years – recklessly ignite old rivalries until a long-buried secret threatens to shatter the lives they’ve built. Set against the quintessential American backdrop of Chicago and its prospering suburbs, the book explores the triumphs and burdens of love and the fraught tethers of parenthood and sisterhood.

The Most Fun We Ever Had is currently being adapted for an HBO series to be produced by Laura Dern and Amy Adams, and written by Lombardo.

Copies will be available at the library. There will also be books available for purchase and signing at the end of the program.
